need help very loud niose

ok my 93 rx7 is very load going down the road.it makes a very load niose when i am touching the gas but if i let off nothing. no clunking from the rear no niose when on the lift. the niose is very loud tho.i think drive shaft but not sure.
rear seems to be ok and tranny seems to be ok. i dont know if im missing something but however i need help fast. thanks,jason

You'll have to be more descriptive in describing the noise. Is is a constant screeching, a heavy rattle, or just super-loud engine sound?

You might be best off taking it to a mechanic.

its a very loud winding sound kinda like its scraping but not really.thats the best i can explain it.i guess ill try to record it somehow.it almost sounds like my car is some kind of supercharged from the back of the car and its not coming through the exhaust.i hope that helps you out.thanks,jason

sounds like it could be worn bearings in your rear end or a bad u-joint. it could also be worn half shafts.

I agree. Or maybe a chipped gear in the differential or transmission.

well im hoping like hell a drive shaft,wheel bearing axle or something.i cant even find a fd rear for sale.if thats it i will just park it for a while.but its crazy the rear is very clean,new fluid along with trans (right after it started making the noise),no movement in rear and the tranny seams great as shifting and the whole 9 yards. damn im confused. lol. well thanks for the advise,jason
