Need HELP on transmission
here is the problem , while i was driving my 93 rx7, suddenly it jz lost power , so i restart the car, everything is fine, except sum weird noise come the engine, and none of the gear is working, "all sound no go", first i though it was my transmission, but therez no symptoms shown before, and therez no burn smile, and the transimission fluid is full. the raredest thing is my car run within the first 5 or 6 second with a extremely low speed when i start it, then it jz flat out again- no respond in every gear. NOTE! it is a AUTOMATIC transmission. could anyone tell me what cause it, and how to fix it. I'm from bostom, MA , it would good if anyone know any rx7 specialty shop in Mass area. thank you!!!

Sorry to hear about your transmission problems. I have a 5-speed, so I really am not much help for you; however, this sticky is located in the Northeast forum
https://www.rx7club.com/ne-rx-7-forum-30/list-all-mechanics-ne-area-137694/
Again, it is a sticky in the forum and should get you to a good mechanic.
Good luck...

I would focus a little less on finding a good RX-7 shop and a little more on finding a good automatic transmission shop. However, used auto trannys are a dime a dozen, and it might be best to simply have an RX-7 shop to swap out the whole thing if they can verify it's a tranny problem.

Tranny is smoked. Mine did the same thing, I fixed it with a swap to a manual. If you want to stay auto buy a used one from the forums, they are everywhere and dirt cheap.
