need help!!! throttle ???

after installing new motor in fd (93 with auto)... When in park or neutral I can get engine to rev, but when in any drivable gears, R-D-S-L i can't get any response from throttle even when manipulating it manually under the hood. Andy thoughts fd guru's Need hel please :O)

If it ran fine before the engine swap, to me I would consider re-checking all those wires that hook into the tranny. I will bet you have one that is not connected.
There is not a lot of room for any 'stretch' in some of those cables, and it is also possible you may have damaged/broken one internally.

Good luck, but really I think this is a simple (though perhaps a big hassle) fix.
Just use logic, the car was fine and now it isn't. I would think the transmission or engine ECU would be throwing some codes, too. You might check for this, sometimes you won't be alerted by the 'Check Engine Light' for some of these codes.
