Need help With sway bar endlink!

My driver side rear sway bar end link broke off, i got one sent by a forum member. I realize as iam trying to instal that the sway bar is stick out to far and the part that connects to it is to far inside. the sway bar on the right side is slightly bent in to mount, the other one is not bent in at all. There is no way i can push it in enough to instal the end link, what can i do?

PS. If you hold out both hands palms facing each other, imagine those are the ends of the sway bar. The right side is bent in to mount, while the left one is pretty much strait or alittle out so it cant mount.

Remove the bar and put it in a vice and slide a pipe over it to rebend , but you know it will bend next time more easly . I have a good used one in storage .If you want it make an offer . If you heat it to bend it research how to get the temper correct so it will not bend again
