Hidden fuel cut switch is good.

The '85 GSL-SE came with a 13b...

thanx for the info on the first gen.Reason I asked is that theres a first gen just right down the block from me.And the would be thieves would have to live near me in order to know where my car is.
Also ive seen an article somewhere thats showed an fd with a removable steering wheel.

put a boot on your car when its parked. im talking about those things that are put on your wheel when you have parked illegally. instead of being towed, you have to pay a fine to have the boot removed.

Get a brake line lock installed at your local brake shop for front and rear, tell them to hide the switch. This would be relatively inexpensive, and make it a serious pain for someone to steal.

This would also make parking your car safer on hills. Since ebrake and gears don't keep an rx from rolling.

Where did you hear that gears don't keep the car from rolling. I park on a steep hill everyday. I use ebrake and gears, so far so good.
As far as anti theft stuff...I'd park in front of someone else...They really can't get your car unless they feel like steeling 2. Also may want to slip map censor tube off...the car will barely start and backfire and ****...also get a shock censor alarm. Sleep in your car haha

This is funny. Sounds like teen age angst...

If you are worried that some dude is gonna steel it, just talk to him that you heard a rumor and ask if its true and let him know that you know and the cops will be informed asap. he won't do **** since he probably doesn't intend to do **** and is just talking ****.

geez...

You can call/email them tell them what you want. And they'll get to you, that isnt too difficult is it? They didnt put up a list of supported applications for some reason, but hey I got one from them somehow... that means you can too

If you are really nervous just get something like LoJack - probably the best u can do. It will actually help you in the event they just tow ur car away somewhere.

Alarms dont really do anything anymore... ppl usually just ignore them. And just so you know...cars w/removable steering wheels can still be steered... If the theif knows what he/she is doin, they can get ur car if they REALLY want it.

my fd has an alarm system that when tripped, the car wont start.. now i know some thieves know how to go around this but still..i have that, plus a steering wheel club, an autolock (the one advertised on tv, that hooks to your brake or clutch), a car cover (dont know why i put that for protection, besides from scratches and dents) and i have one of my family members block me in, i just move their car when i have to leave..

so all in all, thats about 5 protectors that i have for my rx7

so far so good... thank god
You said it's an auto?? Just let him steal it, and buy a manual Since you can find out where he lives, go kick him in the nuts and steal your car back. Then you'll have 2 FD's

found this security device on ebay:

i agree that you should find out who this guy is and confront him. why not just prevent theft altogether rather than anti theft devices? id rather kick someone's *** and have them not even touch my car.

Damn everyone is doing triple posts.... don't you love dialup.

Yeah I would get a kill switch installed one for the fuel, and one for the ignition, removable steering wheel, probably fabricate some kind of locking mechanism for the e-brake, you already have an alarm so thats a +. I think having someone park behind you is a good idea but what a hassle too, but definetly worth the cause, and a like others were talking about, the door locking mechanism is already purty sufficient,. Man what a hassle I have too live like that too, but I guess its just my own peranoia.

bottom line is if he has a tow truck theres really not much you can do to prevent them from stealing it if they really wanted to. i would suggest get that lock thing that goes on your brake or clutch(i forgot what they were called) and lojack. if worse comes to worse and if he gets the car he will have the car for what, 3 hours?

Do you have inshurance !? Make a claim !

First thing people look for when parting a car is lojack... I would immagine, and since it emmits a radio signal, to track, all you have to do is get a bug sniffer, and you'll now where it is....

Brake Lock Sounds like good idea, hidden switches are fun, but in the end, it's all a dterrant, if they want your car, you're SOL...

Most likely he knows you love your car, and wants to make you loose your mind... be carefull, and get good insurance...
