Exclamation Need help for my new fd everything ok no good performance

I am new owner of rx7 fd I have it only 3 weeks.
Before I buy this car I check the condition of car into mazda local dealer who inform me that the compresion of the motor is 8.0 and also the turbo is in very good condition and work fine.
The only problem is with one pipe who is damage i think this one from intercooler to engine so the pressure of turbo is only 0.5 bar max and for this reason the car didnt run very fast but also work fine it start easy it have good accelaration good oil pressure e.t.c
Yesterday I go the car for service and I replace the pipe who have damage also I replace many other things fuel filter, oil filter, oil, transmition oil,k&n air filter, spark plugs and brake pads.
Today I take the car for driving and run very well 60% better, turbo pressure become 0,6bar and 0,8 overboost but still the car didnt have the performance who have a healthy stock rx7.
I ask the technician and they told me that the engine of my car have more power but for one reason they dont know why engine can not put out all the power and finaly they told me to go again the car after new year for check and search the problem.
I think that maybe is diff oil problem because I told technician to replace it and when open the the diff to replace the oil they close it again and inform me that better dont replace it because it have very thickly oil and if replace it with thin oil 75-90 maybe the diff broke or make noise so I trust him and didnt replace the diff oil.

Can the diff oil effect car performance?

My rx7 is stock without modifications.
Any idea?
plz help.

ok you were getting:

0.5 bar = 7.2518869 pound/square inch

now you get:

0.6 bar = 8.7022643 pound/square inch

and 0.8 overboost = 11.603019 pound/square inch

your boost pattern should be

7 - 5.5 - 7 - 5.5 bar (10-8-10-8)

at 2900 RPMs - 4500 RPMs (slight dip) - 4501 RPMs - 6500 RPMS,

By what you wrote I can't tell you pattern though. Sounds like you are underboost and then you get a spike.

If I were you:
I would check for possible boost leaks and all of verify that all of my solenoids work.

Are you talking about straight line performance or cornering performance?

The diff cannot affect the level of boost. It can, however, affect the performance of the car in general. Replacing the diff oil is not a big issue - for comfort sake you can change it but I think it's not the problem.

There are several intake coupler parts between the turbo and intercooler and engine - I think you repaired only one of them. Remove all of them, inspect them very carefully outside of the car. Don't forget the piece near the bottom of the intercooler - for that one, remove the metal supports on the elbow. Especially look at the connection that is closest to the turbo.

For pictures:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...43#post4981043

If these are ok, you may have a wastegate problem. (Incorrect electrical connections or missing restrictor pills). But inspect the intake couplers first.

Check your grounds. Make sure they are making a good clean connection. This should help out your hesitation.

Today I add some ground points one to firewall and one behind the oil filter on transmition also I have clean 2 ground points.
The hesitation is now lower 20% lower but still it have some hesitation.
Tomorow I add 2 more grounds one on ecu direct from battery and one on engine intake.
Finaly for my other problem with performance can be the injectors? What you suggest to clean the same injectors or to replace?

Your stock cat could be clogged? Restricted exhaust flow will hinder performance....

That is a major modification - I do not consider this car to be all stock.

You need to watch your boost carefully since this mod can change your boost significantly, and anything over .82bar will cause the ECU to stop fuel for a moment, which feels like strong hesitation. Especially be careful if the boost gets high very quickly, which can happen so fast that the ECU does not cut fuel in time - this is very dangerous for your motor.

Is the boost is above 0.8 bar when you see the hesitation?

No the hesitation happend below 0,8 bar usually at 0-0.4 bar.
Also I check the bar carefully today and it can not go up to 0,5 bar easy.
To see 0,6bar on my gauge I must have 5 gear with 100km and then I have to press full the accelarator pedal and then yes I can see 06 and after 10 sec 0,8bar but with low gears 1,2,3 the maximum is 0,5 bar.
Is that ok?

You should check to see if you have the "pills" or "restrictors" in the hoses on the turbo. If you do not have those, it will make the boost too low.

Basically, the pills are small restrictors placed INSIDE the two vacuum hoses. If they are missing, it can make your boost too low. What year is your car?

You can take off the air filter box and maybe check the lines on your car like in the pictures here...

My car is 93 model
I see the photos in link but I see only hoses what exactly is pills? or restrictors?
Also can this problem begin from electric valves under the intake?or faulty small valve this one with green and white body under intake?
It is expensive to change all the valves and electrick valves?to be sure that I am ok from there? Also I replace the hoses who Wargasm show me.

I read all the thread and I understand that the pills is something like a tap in the silicon hose is with specific diameter hole is that correct?
So I have to check if I have this pills into my hose?

Yes, the pills are small metal cylinders inside the two hoses. They have a small hole drilled in them that work to control the boost. You should check to see if you have them on your car. A lot of times what happens is that an owner replaces the hoses but he doesn't know about the pills and throws them away by mistake.

OK what diameter have the pills and what diameter have the hole , because my car have new silicon hoses so I am sure that I dont have it.
Also today I replace my blow off valve with new blitz and inside the hose off blow off valve I see that someone have complete tap this hose with aluminium cylinder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any one know the reason?

I read today many articles about this pills and I would like to ask, if I install a boost controlorer like hks I can remove this pills or if i dont have all ready they dont need them?
Because this days I planing to replace all the hoses with new silicon so I am thinking to install and a boost controler and the reason is for this pills because if I dont have it is hard to find or if I have it maybe they dont work well so again it need to replace it.
So if I install a boost controler I can take out the pills?

You can make a "Home Depot" boost controller yourself and save a LOT of money compared to buying an HKS.

"Home Depot" is the name of a popular hardware store in the USA, and you buy the parts at the hardware store, so that's why we call it that! hahahaah

Ohhh I look at he price for electronic boost control and is very expensive so I install manual boost control.
Again I ask I need pills if I use this method?

Manual boost control replaces the wastegate solenoid and pill. If you install another MBC on the precontrol, it replaces the precontrol solenoid and pill.

I have some news about my problem

I come home from a ride with my rx7.

My friend who allready have for about 3 years rx7 fd test drive my car for about 20 km and they told me that the boost work fine because it rise the pressure correct and stable 0,6-0,8 overboost my mistake they said to me that is that I dont press full the pedal so the car didnt have load and for this reason they dont boost above 0.3-0.4 bar so I thing that I have boost problem.
But the problem is that the car didnt rise rpm for 0,6 -0,8 boost.I mean that the bar gauge shows 0,6 bar stable with 2,3 gear but the car didnt rise fast rpm but like a normal fast car.
So they told me that propably I have electric, electric valve or harness problem and not turbo.Because a healthy rx7 rise rpm very fast with 0,6bar and 3 gear spin but my rx7 spin 2 gear and that not always.

So what your opinion??
Also were I can found electric valves? Is expensive?
