Just to let you know i did come in and do some research and look into it before i posted. i didnt slam on a body kit to the car first it actually came like this along with the exhaust. Maybe you shouldnt give me such a shaming without learning a few things yourself. Im not new to forums i know how they work, people being a$$es about it dont help. I may be new to the rotary but im doing my best to research things and find all i can about it. I might of come off as an idiot, talking about racing i was just trying to get my point across. i dont go out every day trying to find a race, i take care of my car, and want it to run right, thats why i came to you guys to see what i might learn, thank you mike for taking the time to put a real reply in and everyone else that did. Like i said im going to try and pick up a boost gauge today...

True again... my apologies if I came out rather harsh. Just the "racing part" gets to us, especially when you don't know your boost levels. Like I said, we need to work on how we relay our info.

Back on to topic, yes, please let us know what your boost levels are. If there is in fact a leak, you will want to get that fixed asap. Put her down for the meantime... diagnose the problem before pushing her again.

thanks.

Don't worry dude, 90% of us have gone through plenty of flames, sh** I stilled get it all the time, even after I've looked stuff up. Just keep in mind that some of the O.G's round here tend to forget that some of us don't look at the same stuff as "common sense problems" and so troubleshooting techniques are bound tobe different, as well as level's of knowledge in the particular field. I've asked dumbass questions just in the past couple days, that almost got me my as$ kicked. But good luck, and don't fret, there's lots of answers here, and plenty of BS to keep you giggling the **** outta yourself. - peace!

There's nothing wrong with humor on these forums. It would be a boring club if everyone was all uptight and crap. Humor is alright as long as the person gets their questions answered.

FYI to the new guys on here: flaming is a CULTURE inseperable from this forum. You really either learn to adapt to it (by doing your homework, searching, reading up, etc, BEFORE posting), or the RX7Club guys will pretty much push you away from the forum.

The result? Guys who are willing to take the time to learn really DO learn and advane themselves, and lazy ppl and/or idiots are left helpless, destroy their car, and someone who knows what they're doing saves the RX-7 from them by buying it and restoring it to running condition after hours of TLC. While I don't think it's the best method, it sure works.

I'm sure you did, as you posted off the bat that you don't have a boost gauge yet. You basically did half your homework. The other half would haev been to not post UNTIL you had something worth posting (not saying that in a mean way), but I mean, what can we do to help you w/o a boost pattern? It's like trying to fix a problem w/ a blindfold on, because you have absolutely no idea what's going on w/ the turbos.

Oh and Robbie, not to be funny, but really...

THAT'S WHY regulars and experienced folks here are getting frustrated. Frustrated because newbies who come on and ask for help don't have the self-responsibility to help themselves first, research their cars first, and learn about their cars first, do the maintenance, reliability stuff BEFORE actually acting like a dumb *** and racing other cars. Geesh... THAT'S WHY you get responses like that. Dumb questions get old.
Amen! It gets real old, real fast, you have to take some responsibility in the things you what to know and do. Usually people come on here and say " boost pattern off, help me fix it" with no info and knowledge of the car itself. How can we help? We just have to set them in the right direction, that doesn't even work 90% off the time. People just don't listen or read. period.

P.S.- there are no stupid or dumb questions, unless you can search one word and find multiple answers right in front of your face. Get it? Also the whole decision thing has to stop, "what kind of BOV should I get?" Make up your own ******* mind, what are you a robot? Following *** bitches. By the way this a fun thread, people have to understand this is how we vent. For the love of Buddah, we are FD owners!! that says a lot.

I thought you aren't supposed to use synthetic fluid. Wont it screw up my side blinkers? Anyways, I live in hawaii so what weight would you recommend & how often should I change it.

Careful. You don't want to mess up the BOV-like device in the exhaust, or the altezza lights around the exhaust tip!
