Does anyone know if there's an available gasket for the cover over the wastegate actuator? I noticed an exhaust leak coming from the cover when i had it on the lift but i can't find a gasket mentioned in the FSM or parts fiche.

Pic is from a random eBay set of twins, mine has all 4 bolts.

 

There's a metal gasket there.......not available as a spare part.

Probably easiest to source from a junk set of twins.

 

Yep. Used they should be a dime a dozen, they are VERY hardy gaskets. Mazda considers that part of the turbos so doesn't sell separate.

Fudge i have a spare set of twins and it's also missing the gasket and the plate. Do you think i could use some ultra copper RTV around the perimeter and seal it back up?

 

No chance, pretty extreme environment there, probably exceed max temp at idle. Fuchs jointing compound might get by for a while if the surfaces are not too bad.

Could try getting some copper sheet, wad punch, etc, as that's basically what's used between turbo halves and make one......if nobody has anything.
