Need Help with grounding wires in rats nest. Please Help!!!
I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my motor and while the motor was out I wanted to do some clean up work. I wanted to eliminate the plugs in the rats nest as I'm currently running non sequential twins and a PFC. I just wanted to remove the plugs as I don't have time to rip apart the entire harness. I removed everything except for the orange connector and after doing more research into this wiring removal I think I might have created a problem.
If you look in the attached picture you'll see that I have three loose grounds that go to nowhere. The only ground I reconnected back to the grounding junction was the ground from the gray connector as I had read on another page
"If you cut off the solenoid connectors the idle air control will not function. It shares a power with the gray solenoid connector."
So right now I have my harness on my workbench and I cannot assemble my motor till I get this problem resolved (at least I think it's a problem). Here are my options and please let me know what you think.
1. Connect the 3 loose grounds to the ground junction that the orange connector and ground from the silver connector are currently hooked up to.
2. Leave the grounds as they are, seal them up and re wrap the harness.
I hope the picture helps.

here's a quote from Goodfella's build thread:
There is a ground that daisy chains through the harness so once you cut all the sequential connectors you need to solder the ground back to the ISC connector in order for it to work properly
not sure if your in the same situation but sounds like it
