Need help with engine issues

I have searched and i have gotten all kinds of answers. My engine pulls boost fine, sometimes it gets stuck at 6k RPM. I think i might of popped a hose because at idle it sounds like i have a cam in the car, and the idle is rough. I have a stock port motor and at normal idle, i am pulling 10 LBS of vac. I know this isnt correct because i used to get around 15 before it started. It almost sounds like a fouled spark plug. I got them, just havent put them in yet because i have no time yet. I was thinking it might also be a sensor, or a ripped hose. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Eric

Sounds like there is a cam in the car?

Who wants to break the news to him?

GOT IT!!!! YAY!!! it was the hose! It went under what looks like a coolant line and connected to the back of the engine!

From left to right it is the EGR and "switching" solenoids. Not sure if they would cause your problem but that is what they are. A little more to the right is your map sensor, it could also be that. This is from the vantage point that your are looking at your engine from front to back with the UIM still on.
