sooo i searched and searched and can't find an answer so here it goes

i wanted to prime my fuel system, im in the process of finishing putting the rest of the stuff on my motor but still don't have the UIM on or any of the intercooler hoses. Everything else is hooked up.

I hooked up the battery to my other car with jumper cable because the battery in my car has been sitting for a while and is dead. I started up my other car and as soon as i did smoke started coming out from where the positive battery terminal is on the rx7 by the front of the engine.

PLEASE HELP!! one thing i want to say is the ground that goes on the side of the engine (left side) i had to move where the a/c hooks up to the power steering... i no longer have a/c but could this be the issue? thank you guys!!

 

So the problem is there is smoke from front of engine? Stupid question but, you didn't reverse polarity did you?

Is the car able to start now or you stopped after seeing the smoke?

What is the "main" problem? Let us know.
