need help car wont run
Hey guys I am stumped, the other day I tried installing a walbaro fuel pump in my fd. The car was running fine before I started this.
I tried installing a walbaro fuel pump without the kit(didnt know you needed it). I also pulled the fuel pump relay instead of the fuse, put the fuel pump in tried starting it. would not fire up so I thought it was flooded so I replaced all the spark plugs same thing.
I then found that there is a kit needed for this pump so I decided to put it back the stock pump. Got it put in, primed the car and tried to start it. It was hard to start then it started and went up to 2k rpm's then went down and died. Tried again had to give it some gas to start and it will not stay running unless I constantly feather the gas and it isnt very responsive to that but will run until I stop feathering the gas.
At this point I am stumped and have no idea what to do, could me pulling the relay instead of the fp fuse have damaged something? any ideas on what it could be? thanks guys

try putting everything back together like it was before disconnect the battery completely for about 5 min. then try and see if your holding fuel pressure hopefully you have a fuel pressure regulator next time pull the fuel pressure reg. fuse and let it idle until it dies that to me is the best way to get all the fuel out of the lines.
