need help before ordering parts

Just bought a 1994 RX7 with blown apex seals.

Looking for some advice on mods to go with the Mazda reman engine.

Here are my thoughts on upgrades / replacement parts while engine is being replaced:

koyo n-flow radiator
noltec motor mounts
hose techniques silicone vaccum hose kit
greddy airinx intake
exedy stage 2 clutch
gotham racing ceramic coated downpipe and midpipe or high flow cat
HKS carbon TI catback exhaust
relocate battery
replace primary and secondary injectors along with fuel pump and fuel filter
replace ast
greddy smic intercooler (although I really like coolcharge iii except price)
apexi power fc and commander with apexi boost controller

I bought the car for dirt cheap and the Mazda reman engine will also be purchased for way below mkt value


all suggestions and comments welcome

boost gauge. don't think you need the exedy stage 2 clutch, only if you are going to run big HP. Get a good tune also.

I DO believe he'll need the clutch, people making over 300rwhp have mixed results with the stocker. Maybe a light flywheel while you're in there.

Instead of putting new 550s in the primaries, you might want to explore your options using 4x850s. They're going to be out anyway, and you have a PFC that can be tuned for it. Too much fuel capacity is FAR better than too little...

You'll definitely want a stronger clutch.
