Angry Need Help Bad!!! FD AC problem haunting me for months

Heres the situation, I own a 93 Fd and Ive been having stalling issues when i turn on my AC. This happens only when I push the AC button on the console, not when just the fans are blowing. I only stall when I am in a gear though. If I have the AC on and Im in gear with the clutch in, I stall. For some reason The ecu is not getting info that the AC is on and not feeding in more AIR.

I know the ECU is not the problem because I have a GFORCE and a stock one that Ive used. I even took the car to Rotary World down in Miami and they couldnt figure it out. Checked some tranny sensors which tell the car shich gear youre in and stuff like that. Anyone OUT THERE? Summer is coming soon down S FL.

The same thing happen on my car too. I have stock ECU.
Its just whenever the AC button is on, fan set to any speed, and the car is in gear. Mine would go down to 500 or less RPM almost stall, and the ECU compesate it back to 1200rpm and drop again to 500, and so on.
So the idle keeps hunting. I think the ECU is compesating something.

It's January! Damn I want to live in Miami.

All I can say is for the time being, turn the idle up a little (not to high) to try to compensate for some of the drop.

A bad clutch switch might cause this.

Just My 2 Cents

I'am not really sure what your problem is BUT I've heard lately when that usually happens that the compression of your car is bad.

I dont think so. It's all about the damn clutch switch.

The clutch switch is the nifty little plastic switch that likes to break. It's located in the driver footwell...follow the clutch pedal shaft up and you'll notice a little switch at the top that *should* open/close when you depress/release the clutch pedal...I'll get a pic today if I can.

How about this.... I followed the clutch pedal to the "SWITCH". theres a white plasticpiece that pushes in and out like SANJORX7 said(thanks). It seems to get stuck inward when i depress the clutch. I have to push the clutch in and pull out the plastic tab with my hand. Im thinking maybe this is causing no signal to be sent to the ECU. Am I right? Im gonna start the car and try it.

For those that don't know what this switch looks like, I grabbed a pic this morning on my way to work (not while driving though)

Werd.

My switch is a little hairy/linty, so don't make fun

Hey Guys, wanna thank you all. It seems it is the little switch. I poulled it out and turned on the AC and it works fine. It seems the spring in it isnt working well.
I gotta replace it. I think I can just undo the sensor. Anyone ever take it off? Anyone know where i can get one?

It can also be bad compression though...

Seeing as mine is an automatic, it's not the clutch switch. My compression (last I checked) was 4.2 on all chambers, both rotors. Right now, I'm praying the engine holds out till I go to sea again and earn some cash for a rebuild.
