Need help with ARC FMIC install

I purchased a new ARC front mount a few years ago and have been collecting some parts for my FD since. Now I have some spare time do to the great shape of the economy so I'll be installing some of the parts that are kicking around. The problem is that the intercooler didn't come with the instructions and I searched and have not found anything. Ive never done anything like this before so I could definitely use some direction.
All help would be greatly appreciated.

You're most likely not going to find install instructions for that particular intercooler as it's pretty rare. Look around for installs of the Greddy, Blitz, and Apexi front mounts and go through those - they will most likely be very similar with a lot of how it installs.

I will say that installing a front mount is a BIG job on the FD. It really takes a lot of time to do it right, many test fits, etc. The other tricky part is whether you got the brackets for everything - I had to fab a lot of the brackets for my Apexi front mount and it was a ROYAL pain.

If it seems overwhelming, sell the front mount and buy a nice stock mount. There's many times I wish I had a stock mount - so much easier to work on the car, and so much easier to install.

Good luck,
Dale

Did a little Googling around for you.

First, here's a shop selling the kit with a pic of the kit. Judging by some of the components, this does look to be the FD kit -

http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/a...5-p-19659.html

If so, that's a LOT of brackets - if you don't have the complete kit, you're gonna be in trouble.

Also -

I think they may be the US distributor for ARC products. Might be worth calling them and seeing if you can get a copy of the instructions for the kit. The instructions will likely be in Japanese, but with careful study you can usually figure out what needs to be done.

Found this as well -

http://www.arcinter.co.jp/arc/produc...mazda/fd3s.pdf

That's the parts manifest showing all the parts for the FD kit.
