need help aligning my ac panels/gauge hood
hey guys, I have been working pretty hard on restoring my car and have had a problem sicne day 1 i thouhgt i could easily fix. but no such luck.
for some reason my ac control panel and gauge hood do not line up, the gauge hood sits about 3/8" above the ac control panel and is about 1/2" popping out. if I press down into the dash it pops into place, but then pops back out.
I thought it may be because someones knee smashed into the ac control panel causing it to be shifted forward, but its mounting seems solid.
pictures if needed, its cold in the garage!

Hey, do you have a copy of the FSM which shows the body parts in detailed pictures???
most of the panels you mentioned require the proper snap clips/pins ie.gauge hood to dash board.
also several screws are required along the edges of the ac panel to stay secure to the center housing of the dash-B.
You really need to see and study in details how the original car was assembled in order to understand and asses to why/reason why your **** does not fit.
