Need Help !
Folks,
I just pulled onto the highway and keep the car in 3rd doing 4,000 rpm for about 2 minutes, then floored it for a few seconds, <5 and looked behind to see a massive amount of smoke. I let off and the smoke was gone, then few minutes later I hit the gas again to see if I would see anything and nothing..
On idle their is a faint amount of smoke, but it's always done this as far as I can tell.
What could it have been ?.. sorry for the next silly question, but I'm new, how can I tell if the motor blew? I hope it's not this.
Car is a '93 puts out about 330rwhp with usual mods and PFIC.
Thanks

i find if if i putt around and then give it a thrashing it will usually pump out a heap of fuel smoke because the plugs get fouled up. as with your case usually the 2nd or 3rd time i floor it it ceases.
i doubt it's your engine... though it could also be the turbo seals

That's how mine started and it only got worse. It was, well still is, my turbos. I have a set at the Rx7Store getting rebuilt. If your worried it's the motor then go get the compression tested. My guess from the info you gave is that it's your turbos.
