Need good info on RX7s
I am extremely new to the rotory motor and the RX7 too. I have a few questions that I'd love if someone could bare with me and answer really quick.
1)Are naturally aspirated rx7s suited for turbo installs? Or are the factory turbo cars modified to work better with FI? ie, could you buy a NA RX7, bolt a turbo to it, and save money over buying a turbo RX7 from the factory?
2) How quick are these cars with the factory turbo? estimated ET and mph would be great
3) Are these cars expensive to modify? Is the aftermarket there to support this car, or is it top dollar for every mod? ie, how hard (expensive) is it to get one of these cars into the 11s or better.
4) Do you know of any good websites that feature 10-12sec RX7s so that I could see how they went about it?
The reason for all these questions is that I really like the styling of these cars, and I could see myself purchasing one in the near future if they are easy to be made quick(atleast a mid-low 12s car).
Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate your answers to these silly newbie questions. I'm just having a hard time finding good information about RX7s.

Whats the deal on getting one of these cars in to the 11-12sec times? Are we looking at 10K, less, more, bueler??? TIA guys, I know newbie questions suck a big one.

1/4 mile time for the stock 3rd gen is high 13s.
there is an aftermarket for it, although i have relatively little experience to compare it to, I can say that its cheaper to get a stock 3rd gen RX-7 to low 12s than it is to get a 300ZX TT.
four or five thousand dollars can easily get a stock 3rd gen up close to 400hp.
