There is NO paint in existance that can take the heat generated in a turbo charged manifold.. especially a rotary. Your only option is to ceramic coat or jet hot coat it.. painting is a total waste of time. The second you start the car it will start to burn off almost immediately and just make a big, smelly, smoky mess in your garage.

yup..jet hot is your only choice...

even the extreme temp- spray paint with ceramic parts is it will burn right off

Philly? Oh nice.....I thought they were in Cali. What do you think the cost would be on a XS Single turbo manifold?

I have never tried jet-hot coatings, but I ceramic coated my manifold and hot side of the turbo on my Supra and the thing was still shiny when I sold it. I have heard of possible cracking probs with the coating but I never saw any, and I saw EGT's as high as 1550F.

Do what I did i got the lower manifold jet-hot in sterling silver which hold 1300 degree of heat before discolor. Also I jet-hot my exhaust manifold and dwonpipe with they 2000 degree coating which suppose to withstand very high heat, and if that does not work then I will go with they 2400 degree coating. Anyhow I can't give a result yet because I haven't drove my car since I installed the parts which is only about 3 week's ago. btw the Lim still look shiney.

I'd say go with 2400 off the bat, or forget it all together with... I've heard in the past it would only last for a few weeks...
