Need everyone's honest opinion...

Which one of the parts labeled in the pic is the transmission undercover? I need everyone's help on this. Thanks in advance.

BTW, this pic was taken from page J-10 of the repair manual.

That's what I thought at first too, but it is indeed called a transmission cover. Check your PM.

Ever wonder why when someone asks an extremely simple question, 10 people feel they have to chime in with the same answer?

Thanks to everyone who responded. You confirmed what I already knew, but this is where this issue began...

As you all can see in the post above, although I called the part by an incorrect name, the part I wanted is circled and is clear as to what I want.

This is the part I received:

flipped over views

According to the seller, I asked for a "trans undercover" and he said that is what he sent me. But it is clear the part I was sent is not what everyone has identified as a transmission undercover. The seller insists I am at fault in this situation and has even gone as far as posting lude remarks about me. Although my money was refunded and I will be shipping the part back to the seller ASAP, the fact still remains that reguardless of who you are and how much clout you may have in the buying and selling community, if you are wrong about a situation, be a man about it and admit it.

Thank you for your time.

Yep, wrong part entirely, unless you've got a transaxle we don't know about.

Thanks for "driving the nail in the coffin"

When I know I'm wrong about a situation, I'll be the first to admit it and offer my apology. But when I'm right and I know for a fact I'm right and someone tries to say I'm in the wrong, I won't stop till the smoke clears and I'm the last man standing

If you still need the part you can have mine. I've got no use for it since I went V8. Half of the mounting holes no longer exist.

Thanks man. How much do you want for it? And also, to avoid any confusion, can you post a pic of it?
