Question need Door Handle replacement help

Hi, I recently broke my driver's side exterior door handle. Today i received a new...actually used, one in the mail. Before i take it to my mechanic to replace for me...i was wondering if this can be done by an inexperienced person.(Me.) I already looked behind the old door handle and it all seems straightforward except for this green wire that runs from the keyhole to i am not exactly sure where. If anyone can help me out or refer me to a site with a how-to on it, I would be very appreciative. Thanks alot. -Jeff

Go halfway down the page. There is a write-up and some pics. Thank Herblenny for the info.

yeah it's easy. You allready did the first step, taking off the plastic cover. There are clips that hold the rods on, pop the clips and the roda will come out The bolts are 10MM that hold it to the door. That wire is for the light in the keyhole. Surprise your's don't work either huh? Well you can just cut the wire and splice it to the new one. If the light now works with the new handle your are set. If it still don't work, you can leave it or go get a bulb from radioshack and wire it in.
Hope this helps
