Need advise gods of the fd world! Please

Hi all I am stuck again 😂😂 after driving last week had a strong smell of petrol in cabin. So I spent a while look whilst parked up on my drive. Striped down the UIM to find a split fuel line, it was perished and welded to the fuel pipe that joins to near the coil pack. One end I can get to no problem but the other is a nightmare and I can see the end but can’t get to it as LIM is above it. Has anyone over come this without taking out LIM. And if not how hard is it to take out LIM? Do I have to take off turbos ect to remove.
thanks in advance for you wisdom.
Jamie

You can get to the fuel lines without removing the lower intake manifold. You may have to fully or partially remove the rat's nest to get access. It's going to be a chore but it's doable.

Long needle nose pliers are your friend in this situation to get on the hose clamps.

Good thing you found it before it became a REALLY big problem.
