Need Advice From You RX7 Owners

Hey, I have always wanted an FD and I am on the verge of buying now...my old username was WSCrusader112 but i forgot my password from over the years. I was going to buy a few years back but opted for a WRX instead which I am in the verge of getting rid of right now.

I found an RX7 from the Username Toy, who seems to have a highly modded 7 with a garet turbo and all the mods to go with it... He says it has 52k original miles, but has a new motor with 5k from KDR. I searched for his username and saw that he said his car was hit from the back and then hit a car in front of him forcing him to get a new bodykit and new paint... I then asked him in a P.M. if his car had been in an accident and he deny'd that and said he just repainted the car when he got his kit... A little shady no need to lie about something like that... I plan on taking a look at this car to see how maintaned it is... (not flaming Toy at all either btw)

With your advice do you think this is a reliable car to go after I know 7's don't last forever, but he did say there was a new engine in it...(which i didn't see a post about).... This car would have to be a daily driver for me for probably half of year until i get a second ride... I love the RX7 and know the ups and down of high performance cars like it... I used to own a modded 3000gt VR4.

Post your oppinions please, all comments are welcome.

Thank You

They can be relatively reliable. Do some reading on "reliability mods".

I have 1 and it is my D/D but it wouldn't hurt to have someone who can pick you up occasionally etc.

Best of luck.

If someone is willing to tell one lie, they will happily tell many more.

I would not buy a car from someone I did not trust.

I'm with moconnor, too many things that can easily go wrong if you don't know what you're doing. Who really knows what's going on with the car.

Why would you trust this guy or be afraid to bad mouth him? He's a jackass for lying to you. Look for another car.
