Need 96-up J-spec engine info

I just bought a Japanese import 13B-REW, but I am unsure what model year car it came from. Some identifying features:
1. The boss for the coolant cap on the engine is a 1 piece casting. I believe all 1993-1995 engines have a small removable aluminum pedestal for the coolant cap rather than being cast as a single unit with the piece below it.
2. Engine computer code is "N3F1"

I am mainly just trying to figure out if this thing has the better turbos (99-up). Is there an external difference that I could look for on the turbos?

Also, is there any use for the later style vacuum solenoid stuff? It is significantly different than the 93-95 setup.

Thanks!

on the compressor housing of 93-95 turbos it says n3a1, on 96-98 turbos say n3c1 (i think), and 99+spec turbos say n3g1, the 96-98 turbos are pretty much the same as n3a1's but i think have different types of alloys in the exhaust housings to help prevent cracking IIRC.
vacuum "block" required use of jdm wiring harness, or really a crap load of time converting the usdm wiring harness.

phrost is correct.

The 280hp turbos have N3G1 stamped on them.
