nearly done with my swap

i am nearly done with my auto to manual swap, but i have a few concerns, so please help if u can!

first, im just worried if the car will start after i am done. there are two harnesses on that clutch pedal i put in, and four harnesses on the new manual tranny, that are all unhooked, could some one please tell me what they do, and if i need them? will the car start up, or is there some kind of neutral switch i have to wire up?

i have not bleed my clutch slave/master cyl. when i push my clutch pedal in now, it does not come back up, it rests on the floor, when on the floor, i can pull it up about an inch or two, and then it will spring up, is this normal, being there is no back pressure from the fluid now?

also, i need a manual companion flange, does anyone have one, or know where i can get a good deal on one at?

thats about it, i would greatly appreciate any and all responses, im dying to test out this five speed version of my car!

thanks,

paul

I take you didnt get the manual harness? If not, you have to two wires from the auto harness to the clutch switch (which is on the pedal). Which ones, I dont know? I need to find out myself. As for the sensors on the tranny only one of them is really needed, thats the speed sensor. The wiring is the only thing I have left to figure out myself. So, let me know if you get it before me.

Yes it will. It is the only one that fits. When I get a chance I'll go outside and double check which one is the speed sensor, and post it.

With the starter being on the front left of the tranny...the speed sensor is the 2nd to the back on the right side, rectangular plug with two wires.

The clutch will stay down untill you bleed the air out.
