Talking Names or Prices for harnesses

There are a few harnesses I need to purchase for my car. The first one is the main engine harness for a regular manual vehicle. The other(s) are the inside harness that connects to the dash for a manual, and the harness that goes down to the transmission from near the ecu.

My car was previously an auto, made into a five speed through haltech and I had to try to fix up their mistakes because they butchetered all the ecu wiring. So now that the car is going to be going under the knife (getting engine ported/new seals complete non-seq setup) I am wanting to do things right.

So if anyone out there has any ideas about what these things are called i'd appreciate it that way I can find out prices for things and start getting what I need.

Check the first thread in this forum - the stickied thread about FSMs. Download the wiring diagram from there and that has really clear pics of what you're looking for.

The prices are mad expensive - from $800-1400US from a reasonably priced dealer.

It looks as though you've pretty much got it covered with what you already stated. You could give Mazmart a call and see what kind of pricing they have on these harnesses. That is, if you want a good used one instead of a brand new one.

use this site: http://13b.power.ne.jp/main_contents/index.html to get the part numbers

actually, try this, it's an electronic translation of the above; http://translate.google.com/translat...lr%3D%26sa%3DG

click on tech info, then click on the green manual - that's all the part numbers (it's version V (98-00), but I can use it as a reference to get parts for whatever version FD you have).

send me the numbers you want, and I'll get you a quote. It's direct from mazda japan - so you won't get the insane $$$ prices quoted by your dealership.
