Mystery connector...

In the process of taking apart my center console to get at my shift ****, I found an unconnected connector that I don't know what it is/was. Also, there was a green wire that was terminated by a small wire nut and electrical tape. Any idea what these are/were for?

1994 Touring model, manual transmission.

Photo with both the blue mystery connector and the green wire identified:

I believe that was for the headlamp washers on Canadian cars, the switch is in the console next to the rear defrost and foglights.

Could be, thanks. Mine was a US car, but I imagine that the same harness is used for all of them.

When you lift your parking brake up does the dash light up indicating your parking break is on? If it doesn't then that green wire is most likely your parking break wire. They come loose relatively easily.
