Hi,

I recall reading that there is supposed to be a non connected wire coming out of the harness on the drivers side of the motor below the plugs, however I also have a wire coming from the drivers side of the oil pan and not connecting to anything, i looked through the shop manual with no luck and was hoping someone here could help.

are you talking about the oil pressure sensor ?

 

i just changed the oil pressure sending unit, and reattached that wire, however this one did not go to the sending unit, it comes out of the side of the oil pan, and has a white ovalized connector on the end, if it is oil pressure, where does it go?

yeah 2 and 3 are all hooked up, it's number 1, what is that?

no problem, #1 is the oil level sensor

 

ok, and where is it supposed to go? i only noticed it after removing my motor mount and do not see anywhere to reconnect it?

 

it is just mounted on the side of the oil pan.
