Blue smoke...burning oil. Most likely your shaft seals in your turbo.

the stock twins are essentially non rebuildable, due to lack of factory parts...you can try Rotorsports Racing, apparently they have had decent luck with a rebuilder

Well the one way youd know is to do a compression test. If your compression is bad then its motor making all that smoke and if its good then its the turbos. simple as that.

a motor can easily have bad compression and not smoke... conversely, it could smoke and have good compression.

the only other option could be the rotor oil seals, but a compression test wouldnt tell me if thier bad would it? since compression tests test the integrity of the apex seals.

well, many people have successfully rebuild their twins. you just need a good core unit, 300 in parts and some time. you can attempt to keep them in balance with marks or have the rotating assembly re-balanced. the tough part is the turbine oil seal. if the area where it rides is too worn, a new seal will not do much better.

i'm doing this currently with a cherry core unit... not one crack on it and no oil... just a little shaft play
