my t04z build

Hello. I'm posting the progress of my RX-7 build so everyone can see how this setup turns out. I blew my motor last fall unfortunately, lost an apex seal on the rear rotor.

I'm running a garrett t04z. 1.15AR exhaust housing. I also have a coolingmist water injection kit for added safety. I hope I can get the motor back before winter kicks in, since we have a solid 6 months of pure arctic hell and salt. IRP is doing it for me. Street port, RA 2mm seals, pineapple o-rings. I'm still debating removing the OMP.

For a fuel system I'm running two denso pumps, 850/1680 injectors. If the 850's don't suffice I want to run something a little larger. I will post pics up as it goes.

Here is what the engine bay looked like last year when I was putting everything in so everyone can get an idea of how it will look again.

This was stock twins in non sequential. I also port matched the manifold and simplified the throttle body. I hope you can all get enjoyment/entertainment from this build. I would really love to drive my car again with some high boost! It's been so long.

what boost level are you planning for? I wouldn't recommend bigger than 1.00 turbine housing on a street port. I've got the 1.00 on my T04R (non ball bearing T04Z) and it pulls hard up to about 7500rpm

I'm running TO4Z ,too.
From my experience, 1.15A/R is too big for street driving.

My Engine Spec

RE-Amemiya Special Side Port
TO4Z 1.00 A/R
Tial 60 mm Wastegate
Special EX manifold
RE-Amemiya Reinforced 3-piece Apex seals
ARC V-mount Intercooler
850cc X 4
F-con V-pro ver 3.3

540 HP rear wheel with 1.1 Bar Boost

I want to get more power, but more durable gear box is needed.
