is my stereo fried?

all right, i have a new head unit and i just installed a pair of speakers as well. Before I mounted the new speakers back on the car, i tested them out as any reasonable person would. However after i put everything back on, my stereo will not turn on... it won't even light up. I checked the "audio" fuse under the hood and it looked okay. Can anyone help me out???

Thanks,
Chris

check the fuses by the drivers side kick panel... check cigar and room, I had the same problem and those two were the culprits.
