Looking good. Glen does some really nice work! The same stuff was used for fuel lines on my race car. Very cool lines and are very easy to bend to your needs. Are you planning on running a bulkhead between you and the fuel system in the hatch?

Going to cover it with a wooden box, which will be carpeted to match

The car looks great Darren.

Been a long time since you've had your car running, perhaps longer than me! It's good to see the car come to a end. Just keep it when its done and enjoy it. Hopefully I will be right behind you soon once my setup is ready.

I really need to make it out to AZ one day.

You're not really running fuel into the passenger compartment, are you? You need to relocate that contraption under the car, into the fuel tank, or create a bunkhead between you and the fuel. One idiot rear-ending this car could cause it to quickly turn into a fireball. Seriously, redesign it.

HMMM you would be crushing the gas tank before hitting this "contraption" ....I really dont see this being something that would be unsafe for a show / street car that will not be on the road daily...I am not in the habbiit of blowing up customers

wakka wakka

Heard an interesting story today of an rx7 falling 150ft down a hill, landing on it's rear end with all of the weight on rear of the car where impacting. Didn't even phase the area.

If an accident moved that far forward into the rear end, I'd be dead. I don't think fire would matter too much.

Not to be an ***, but have you honestly thought about how it's setup and what would have to happen for that setup to ignite? If I smell fuel in the cockpit, I'd be a bit concerned, but i don't think this will be an issue. I've seen some crazy setups, some of which were half assed. This is a quality build, and I have complete confidence in Glen's work and judgment, otherwise AZRR wouldn't have any part in this build.

I appreciate the concern, but take a moment to think what would happen if a vehicle managed to push the rear of the car 3 feet forward.

Gas tanks in modern cars are designed to withstand a serious crash without being compromised. You're right though - if the car's not going to be driven on the street or the track it's not an issue. It definitely looks impressive . But it appears that this fuel surge system is designed to overcome the starvation issues these cars see on the track. I just hope the owner doesn't think this is safe for the street or track because it's not. Otherwise - beautiful job. When finished the car will definitely be a show winner. Good luck with that.

Just....wow

I can't even imagine how much this must have run you $$$ wise though..

Maybe if my re-enlistment bonus later this year turns out to be like $50k+ then just maybe.....

hahaha

Fantastic looking FD though. The quality as seen in these pics speak for themselves as to the attention to detail taken.

+1 to you.

I can't take credit for the work, just ownership. AZRR has put a lot of quality time into this beast.

I've seen your FD every time I've stopped by AZRR over the past and love the setup. You and I are going to have a few things in common. Cant wait for it to move out of AZRR though, so I can get mine in there
