Footage is captured on board an 00' Integra Type R.
Obviously Im in the White FD that makes a cameo appearance.
I wasnt running the 300RWHP; 12psi.
But was at 8psi (cooling reasons)
I would pull the quick Hondas on the straights (but its not about how fast you can go in a str8 line) The other car is a Prelude.
We were at Hallet Raceway in Oklahoma.
A few fellow board members were there.
rx7gsle & a VR 93' FD on racing slicks!

Yeah those 2 other cars have great road race setups and I was only pushing 8psi (Im guessing ~230rwhp at that level). The first lap was a warm up, hence the catching up. But you can see me pull away later on.
And as most know, its not abnormal for a great handling car with ~100 less HP to be faster around a road course than a fast str8 line racer.
With some better tires, fresh brake fluid and pads, I'll be better suited.
And yeah it was a Ho-made camera mount. So hopefully we all will have better footage next time.

I forgot to mention how remarkable the stock braking is on the FD. (Im too Po to own slotted rotors right now, yet I see more on Drag Racing & Show cars than on anything else) Both FDs out there were on old fluid, old crappy pads and stock rotors and I swear both cars never really got soft on the stock brake lines, just wore down some shitty pads. *thumbs up to decent sized stock rotors & 4 pistons calipers up front!

So Eric, how much did you have to pay those guys to let you finish in first place? hahaha Just kidding. Great vid. I always enjoyed racing at Hallett. Looks like you do, too.
