My R1 should be on the road tomorrow
Well, my motor complete with experimental exhaust porting and BNR dynamic seal stage 2s is sitting in Kan's garage waiting to be dropped in tomorrow. We built the motor friday night and it seems to have nice strong compression. A/c and p/s are out, and the high flow is being replaced by a midpipe tomorrow. All the sequential crap is removed and the block off plates are on. Newly rebuilt and polished alternator on, new oil feed line and coolant hoses on the turbos. 850cc's in the primaries to go along with my 1300s; enough fuel for the power I plan on making. Basically, no more ******' around.....time to wage war on the z06s in the area
Man, I can't wait....we're firing her up tomorrow .
Of course, Steve wishes he could still have my Power FC in his CYM.....he's stuck with his stock ECU again b/c my pfc is back where it belongs in my R1 .
I'll keep everyone posted.....

rich, i think that there are a lot of folks here that are counting on you for the dyno numbers after this is all said and done. i applaud you on your purchase of the bnr turbos, as i feel that they are the best ones on the market. i met bryan about 6 months ago and he is a stand up guy. i am still waiting ona check and the last minute decision for them or that to4r.......good luck with the install and congrats on having a really well rounded fd..

Rich's car is alive again!! the motor is running and put about 20 miles so far. There're some minor issues such as coolant leak and bad fuel pulsation dampler. I'm gonna get those fix this week and will be breaking the motor in for him and get some minor tuning done before he comes back next weekend. The new BNR stage 3 turbos are awesome. Great boost response considered they were non-sequential. I haven't driven the car yet but so far, (according to Rich), he claims that the response at lower rpm is just as good as his sequential setup. Dyno will come soon hopefully by next week or the week after. if Rich allows me to put the 500 miles that we need on the motor, we can probably get the motor tuned and goto dyno next weekend. Stay tuned for the dyno results soon.

hey Rich, are you going to replace the FPD with a new one or just shitcan it?
too bad you can't take the re-energized FD with you to shoot some flamage on unsuspecting Iraqis

Hey, it's on the road.. I saw it with my own eyes!
Damn that's a shiny alternator... Someone has WAY too much time on their hands...
Now if only we knew how quick it was...
