My PFS SMIC Polishing Project
My PFS SMIC Polishing Project
Just thought I'd post my small project on my PFS SMIC. Wanted the whole IC to have that polished look. Not the best, but got some shine on it now lol. Some aircraft paint stripper, sanding/wet sanding, all of this done by hand, but might use the buffer for some of those blemishes.
Looks awesome. Definitely an improvement.
Noticed that your IC is bolted to the crossbar. FWIW, I have the same IC, but I bolted a counter-sunk rubber pad on the crossbar that the lower flange just sits on. Once the PFS duct and IC couplers go on, it doesn't move. But makes it a snap to get out for cleaning or anything else. Regardless, nice job.
