my parking brake lamp on dash keeps comin on...

when i floor my car a lil.. when my car jumps.. and the parking brake raises a little.. the light comes on.. and stays on for a couple minutes..

anyone else have this problem?

^ What he said. Your brake fluid is low and the level sensor in the reservoir is turning the light on.

Either that or the parking brake switch is out of adjustment.

If it's coming on when you're accelerating, I would check your fluid first(like everyone has said).
Mine is does this from time to time becasue my ABS unit is leaking, and I have to fill it. Look at the tank on the driver's side of the car in the engine bay. Sometimes you can see that it's low there.

Check Your Brake Fluid Level. Mine Did The Same Thing Untill I Add More Brake Fluid. No Problem Since.

I've been there. I bought another ABS pump and swapped the seals into mine to "rebuild" it. Actually wasn't really hard. There's a thread I added somewhere you can find if you search. Try my user and "ABS pump leak".

Mine was out of adjustment and did the same thing, everytime I'd launch hard that light would come on and scare the crap out of me.

My brake handle does too. My fluid is full and I'm to lazy to adjust it.
