Yeah, they are very expensive. I was very fortunate to purchase them used and I had a couple of g's saved up. If I have not bought them then, I probably would never have. Since, I feel that the money could go to engine mods, suspension, brake, or even interior upgrades. But hey that is just me...

Me too
I don't have enough play $$ to invest in a full Tein adjustable system (or similar). So it will be just springs for the near future. I'll take recomendations if anyone wants to give them.

Dave,
They look great and thanks for the positive feedback.

DO NOT get lowering springs just wait a couple of months and get some decent coilovers. Tein Flex or the like. Hopefully you'll find a deal on some used ones.

Thanks again for the smooth business transaction,
Fritz
PS I'm glad I never mounted them on my black car or I might be out some cash

I think Fritz must be a licensed Fikse dealer... I bought a set of FM-10's from him a few years back. Never understood why he sold them.

Mmmm, vanilla ice cream. Well, the wheel equivalent of vanilla ice cream, at any rate...

Regardless, congratulations on your wheels. Fritz is a swell guy.

Interesting on the weight. I weighed my 17x10 FM-5s at the Post Office, they weighed 20lbs 2 oz or something like that. Just over 20lbs ea for the ears.

I didn't weigh the fronts.

Edit: The wheel was new, never mounted, no weights, valve stem installed... My 17x10 Fikse with 275s on them weigh about 10lbs more each than my stock wheels with Hoosiers AS03s on them.

^^^My FD has 17 inch rims. When Ari and I set up the Tanabe coilovers we really set them low so that there is a very small gap in between the tires and fenders, thus making the rims appear bigger than they are
