I just got my new CYM FD with 52k for $17000

I dont know why the car doesnt have a front lip but the seller is shipping me a new one.

Hey man, did you get that car from Cary, NC outside of Raleigh. And did you buy it off ebay. Because that was my neighbors car. Did he let you have the other 2 sets of rims too?

You should definitely have a heat sheild...the difference in air temps with one is amazing. Hot air from radiator getting blown on the K&N filters -> not good. Do a search for "custom heat sheild" Damion (sp?) has a good thread on one he fabbed and has PDF file of the templete.

Great deal on the car. And as everyone has stated I though all CYM's had the front lip. The coloring of the front end looks like it isn't stock. Which is completely opposite of what I have always seen. I've always seen people getting the new lip to look like an R1 R2, not to look base or touring?

The lip probably got damaged and the previous owner took it off. Just buy a new (or used) one.
