Cool My New 93 RX-7

Hello Everyone, I am a new owner of a 93 RX-7 and had a few questions about the car. It has a new engine and turbo's new brake calipers all new bushings actually all the reliabilty parts have been replaced. My question is when the factory replaces the engines are they better that the original or are they the same non reliable engine it came with ? This car is basically brand new with 57000 miles on it, I just want to know what to expect in the future. It is nice to know that you guys are out there with all the info us new guys need.

Thanks, T-Rock

The engines are the same, however they don't go bad for no reason at all (especially at average mileage).

Take care of the car and it will be fine. Treat it like crap, and expect to be replacing the engine in a short time.

These cars take special care and feeding. Learn as much as you can, and maintain it properly. These cars can be reliable.

Mine seems to prefer small rodents and lots of coolant to wash it down. More CARnivorous up here in Seattle, I guess...

I can't wait to see, the posts:

Hello, I'm a newbie I used the search function and found that carrots, tomato juice and small rodents can help my car run better. I must have done something wrong Now it doesn't run at all. Any ideas?

When you use the search, look for "reman"
as in remanufactured engines
