After this i agree with you about young kids owning FDs since i went through that stage.

The engine was one of the problems but there was alot of little stuff that adds up that prevented me from keeping the car.

wow i didn't know that was your car in the nitto ad. damn dude an zenki s14 for a trade? i thought you would've gotten the kouki model. me personally i would've tried my hardest to keep it. one of the nicest 7's around dude. lets hope the new guy doesn't wreck it

 

I tried my hardest to keep the car but in the end i failed.

I was looking for a kouki model too but the zenki was the only one i could find, other then the headlights this S14 is well built.

That just may be the tidiest FD engine bay I've ever seen. I'd hold out on the guy for either more money or a better car. ****, you could probably get someone to trade their 350Z for that thing if you put it back together with the twins intact.

I forgot to mention in the trade the rims aren't coming with the car so the buyer has to get his own set so that puts the value of my FD down alot, the interior isn't complete and the car currently isn't running.

I really can't wait any longer bc i need a working car asap so i could get a new job and stuff.

 

I don't think you should do it. Your FD running is worth an easy $18-$20k worth of work. It would sell for that much on this forum or Ebay.

That S14 with an SR20 would cost less than $5,000 to make if you had the right connections.

If you REALLY are trading, he better be including like $10k with that S14. Otherwise, you're losing out on ALOT of money.

I made an RB20'd S13 with an R32 front-end with my brother in our garage for $3,000 total. We sold it for $6,000.

Don't do this to yourself.

Buy a clean, stock S14 as a daily. That's my recommendation.

I understand you want a daily driver, but you'll regret this decision.

My brother and I have owned a total of 1 FC, 3 FD's, 5 SR'd & RB'd S13's, 3 stock and SR'd S14's, 1 KA-T'd 240Z, 1 RB25'd 280Z, KA-T'd 510...

All I'm saying is, it just isn't a good deal on your side, man.

****, give me your zip code and I'll find you a clean S14 to buy for SUPER cheap, and then you'll have yourself a clean, reliable, DD.

I know but like i said i can't wait any longer, if i had another car i wouldn't mind waiting to sell this car at the right price. Also i can't afford and don't have room for 2 cars right now.

ouch...never would've went through with this trade, it bugs me to even think about it. You could've had gotten my friends RB26 500hp 240 for that....

S14 needs work but your making the right decision in regards to time and finances.
I expect to see a thread with that s14 transformed into this.
