Zero: its good to hear your WI setup work!! im happy for you dude... Im just wondering what would happen if it rains or snow as the temp is already cold? Would you have to recalibrate the WI so that it wont be too cold?? or it shouldnt be a problem? tanx
This mod is so great for ppl living in tropical countries like me. And even better for ppl wiv stock IC??

I dont run the WI in the mornings. Also, if I goto the mountains and its snowing, of course I keep the switch off. Just make sure you got atleast 15 pct alcohol in the water tank so it doesn't freeze.
Secondly, I plan to get a thermoswitch that detects the intake temps via a sensor. This sensor will not operate if the intake temps are below 25C. Hope that helps.

Do you have your temp senson relocated for it to react that quickly?

No I dont have the temp sensor relocated, but you dont need to. Even if the sensor doesn't react fast enough and it causes a lean condition (it takes about 2 seconds for the display to drop after I run the WI) , the water injection lowers the combustion temps significantly. Infact, using WI is like running race gas all the time. So the WI will counteract any lean condition you may have.
