No gauges, speedo, or odometer?!?!

hey guys,
i have a problem; I did an engine swap and now my guages do not work.
They come on when key is at "on " position, but go out when engine is turned over. When at idle i can turn the steering wheel and they will come on and off.
I have no extra plugs on the harness exept one black single wire with a female plastic clip on it.
Did i miss a ground? it cant be a fuse or they will not come on at all.

Ever see anything like this? Any suggestion will help.

Thanks in advanced

Hai

if you can jiggle the steering wheel and it comes back on its prolly just a loose connection.....

recheck unplug and replug all the connections near the steering wheel ..... ie (behind the guage cluster)

What type of engine did you swap?? It should be no problem if you swap the 93-95. But, 96> needs different harness I think. Check the connection of the wire first.
