It *appeared* that you could run the piping down there and make sum sort of ducting to it.

WOW! that looks awsome. great job with fitment and fabrication. Looks real nice. also your dash looks awsome with the auto meter guges. always thought of doing that but didnt think it would work with the MPH guage.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I know it's not perfect but the kick in the *** I get when I stomp on the throttle is my car's way of saying "I'm perfectly happy with how it turned out"
I need to find myself a good dyno with a wideband in the North Alabama area. Suggestions?

I admire your workmanship and being unique, but It seems like way too much work for only trying to make moderate power. Get the car tuned and get some good numbers on a nice high boost number.
On another note, i figured that this setup was intended to spool quickly. My T78 spools to more than that at 4k rpms, and people think that the T78 is a "lag monster".
I hope everything works out for you, and good luck. Enjoy your new monster.

I'm not done with the ducting fab anyway so no major loss if I replaced the existing airbox with a "redesigned" one. I may have to make a hardpipe to reroute the upper radiator hose; don't suppose that would be too difficult either.

All that really matters is that your happy with your setup. Some people don't seem to always understand that its not all about HUGE numbers and what not.
Steve Kan was at BNR not to long ago, I'm sure he'll be back but not sure when.

I called and talked with him today. I happen to know the guy as it turns out so maybe I can get a break on dyno time. Hopefully I can get something done this week or this weekend.
I also scored some Hexcel honeycomb that I can use for ductwork. Helps to have a few connections in the aerospace business
