That's a neat idea. You seem to be all about the superhero style "silent but deadly" idea. I saw a few pictures of your car- badass dude. Toning down the bling bling is a good idea in CA. Save you the trouble and money spent on tickets for more mods. Good way to be different. I'd almost consider that, but I live in Delaware... no need. Nice job on the powdercoating.

In CA if u modify any emission related device the ticket can be as high as $2500.00

well the way my intake was set up........ it would have been easy to see the shiny metal.

I can see why most people here would rather save the money spent on blacking everything out for other mods, but at least he's being original. And I don't think rice is the right term for making something more like a stock part for the car.
