my headlights are controlled by ghosts...help

ok...so i hate my headlights...they are a cwest sleek kit with hid's. i had issues before where they stopped working...replaced the relay and...they were good to go. now they dont work at all. but my marker lights, turn signals, inside lights, and tail lights all work...also if i pull back the light handle it will flash the headlights. now today its raining. they still dont work. i get home and turn off the car, 2 minutes later, the headlights turn on. while the lights are set to be off. then i turn them on, they stay on. then turn to high beams, they shut off....any ideas on what i can check or rewire to get these ghosts out of my headlights...thanks!

It's just a wiring problem of some kind. That's the problem with aftermarket headlights, you typically don't have OEM quality wiring. Bad connection, bad ground, something is causing them to act up.

it comes with a relay harness that plugs into my existing OEM headlight plug. only thing i add is a + and - to the kit....i feel as though im more then capable to do that...although i am not getting any power to the harness plug from the oem headlight wiring system.so take away the aftermarket headlight system, what would cause the factory lights to act like that?

you said you have HID's right?

check your ballast. typically all HID kits use a poor quality ballast that doesnt do well when then the car hits bumps of any degree.

its not the ballasts..if i pull back on the light stick, they will stay on as long as i hold it....put when i switch the light on, the stock oem light plug is not getting power. is there a way to check to see if the light switch is at fault?

I don't think it's the light switch, could it be the relay acting up or one of the fuses possibly blown? I would say replace the TNS relay, but you said your tail lights are still functional.

Do you have the stock lights you could plug in to the stock H4 chassis plug to eliminate the aftermarket harness from the equation?

Sorry, but I have to post this Who ya gonna call?
