My first mods going on next saturday hopefully Opinions plz!

Having all these mods or reliablity mods put on by Tripointengineering what do you people think?

1. aluminum AST
2. Silicone Vacuum Hoses and hose kit
3. New Fuel Filter
4. New Thermostat
5. Replace Transmission and Differential Fluid with redline
6. Flush the Coolant System

Also having my oil and filter changed going to use Castrol GTX 20w50 it was recommended by Tripointengineering.

So what do you think of my first mods on my 7?

Car already has a downpipe, turbo timer, and high flo-cat.

I would not do the hose job unless there is something wrong with your boost. when I was in your shoes I did

- AST
- Boost Gauge
- DP
- Water Temp

the hose job was done when I started to get funky boost issues. It is not something you want to do. It is not easy and can drive you friggin insane when you complete it and you realize you still have boost issues. Keep the kit until you encounter a prob and then do it that time. good luck

None of those items are really mods. Maybe the AST. That being said, those are all EXCELLENT things to do for your car.

You should consider having them install a boost gauge while they have the car.
