My First FD

Well I finally purchased one of my dream cars. It took lots of saving on my part but I think it's well worth it. Delivered to my door step today was a 1993 Brilliant Black Mazda RX-7 Touring model with only 37,400miles. Interior, exterior and engine are in near show room condition (one ding on the roof of the car that isn't even the size of a penny), and the car is completely stock, having never been modified. The car is automatic, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it nonetheless (although I have to wait till it warms up here in Iowa). Once I'm able to get the car washed and detailed properly I'll post some pics either here or in the new pics thread.

I'll be installing my R1 (OEM) front strut brace and aluminum AST this weekend since they arrived earlier in the week. SMIC, Efini y-pipe and polished piping all the way around is in the works (e.g. I need to buy them lol).

I'm definitely going to TRY to keep her safe. I've been doing lots of research of the 7s and I know that I'm going to have to baby her if I expect to keep costs down. First things first: try to cool down the engine bay, check hoses and vacuum lines, and let her warm up and cool down each time I get in and out.

Just turned 23 viviorunitia88. I've owned a Prelude, a Rodeo, and two Suzukis (my daily driver is a 2003 Suzuki Aerio Hatch).
