my FD relationship seems to be a LOVE HATE one...

I mean, I love her but sometimes i just cant help hating her.
It starts out alright but somewhere and sometime down the line I just know shes gonna give me hell and everything falls apart again. I mean I spend money on her and upgrade with the latest and greatest and everythings sweet for a while then she just breaks down for some reason, we end up in an arguement and the next thing she just wont make a sound or any reaction to my actions.
We have both been to the local Rota-counciller but even after up to a week of tinkering and treatment she still sometimes wont perform.]Its gotten to the point where I'm gonna have to make an ultimatum, its such a pity we have both come to this but I dont want to break u-p with her its just that shes such hard work somrtimes.
Yes we have had the good times, the time we burnt that GTR32, the time we kaned that WRXsti up the coastline ( amongst others).
Its sad we may have too part.

It's just like a bitch, it needs constant attention. Somehow it sucks up every spare dollar, and you have to make sure it gets drained once a month. While you love her, you have to be worried because everyone is always staring at her, admiring her nice curves and subtle lines. Do they just like the way she looks or do they want to take her for a ride while you're away from her!
Yeah sums it up for me.

I'm the same way with my FD. Love it when It runs hate it when it's broken. The thing is I've been to the point where I was about to sell her, but backed out. I just can't see myself selling my car.

it may be a love hate relationship, but there is definately a very thin line between love and hate.

I am in the "Hate" part of the relationship. (Coolant problem)

But what else can I get for $12-20k? Nothing as beautiful, that performs the same, etc.

If I sell it I'll end up with a MKI Mr2 and call it a day. Get an FD when I have the time/money to deal with it.

Blah.

I learned the hard way, the car will give you many less problems if you don't push the envelope as hard (ie boost, rpms, rwhp, etc)
