My Fd odometer is not working anymore!

Anyone ever run into this problem? Is it repairable or does it need to be replaced? Please snd me a PM if you can offer me any advice. Thanks

It happens a lot. Replacement is costly and doesn't maintain the car's previous mileage (ie. starts over at 00000). There is a fix posted on here some where, search odometer and fix or something similar. It involves replacing a resistor on the odometer circuit board. If you are good with a soldering iron it is pretty simple. if you aren't you will probably have to replace the whole unit.

Mine went out awhile back...I didn't know about the fix and got it replaced. It now reads 26xx miles

Sounds silly but is the wiring harness to the engine disconnected? If so its the grounds on the wiring harness, you need to reground them.
