I used to get a good 400-450 miles on a full tank, not so much anymore.

Yeah my memory failed me once again...Straight from Brian Long's Rx7 book: "17.7 for the urban cycle, with 37.2 at a steady 56mph and 29.4 at 75mph" This is for a stock rx7 in June 1992.

Hey
that is EXACTLY what the stock ECU does in CLOSED-LOOP mode! cuts fuel untill the o2 sensor signals, lean a/f ratio then adds fuel until the o2 sensor shows rich - then repeats the cycle about 5 times per second.

I usually get about 9-10 mpg. Almost all of my driving is around town. Its hard to get good mileage when you are sitting at a stoplight. Freeway driving doesn't help because I hammer it to get on the freeway, and then get off at the next off ramp

I think I get around 20.5 with 75% interstate driving and 25% being in town. My 91 got 24 mpg going to St. Augustine fully loaded with camping gear and enough room to see through a tunnel of crap with the rear view mirror. Then the wife decides not to camp and we get a hotel room....go figure.

True but 26mpg is good for a high performance sports car.
